California lost hundreds of 750,000 people in the last three years alone. Wealthy people are fleeing to places like Las Vegas and Florida. They are rightfully fed up with thee cost of living, mansion taxes, and the sever swelling homeless population. Even Governor Newsom knows the exodus won’t stop any time soon and will accelerate because of a potential wealth tax upcoming because the can no longer tax the residents who already have one of the highest state and sales taxes and gas taxes in the nation.

The mere mention of the name Ayn Rand to a liberal makes their hair bristle and blood boil. Her famous book Atlas Shrugged is derided by those on the left as being cruel and heartless. Here she wrote a book way back in 1957 that had a female as its main character and as a Vice President of a major railroad at a time when that was unheard of, and the feminists scoffed and ridiculed her. There are a myriad of rules and regulations that the far left and inept and callous politicians have enacted thinking that California’s great climate is enough to keep people from leaving. State workers there get exorbitant salaries of an average of over $120,000.00 and perks, pensions and early retirements at an average of age 59 fit for kings and queens. If you ask them they deserve every penny.

Unless something drastic is done in California, they will crumble into third-world status within the next decade. But, this is happening in other Democrat-run states as well. Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Illinois and New York are losing their higher income earners because of high taxation, high crime and decline in living standards primarily due to the tens of millions of illegal aliens waved through under the terrible reign of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

They are fleeing to more tax and people-friendly states which not so surprisingly are run mainly by conservatives. This alone should tell anyone who uses logic that conservative policies are better for the people. Does this make those states see the light and change their policies? Not at all. They double and triple down on them. The reason is that they have to. Once government workers get used to their high salaries and low workloads there is no turning back. Once the public gets used to “free” services there is no taking them away. There is no salary high enough or ever enough free items.

The “Atlases” in many Democrat-run states have shrugged and left for states that are friendly to hard workers instead of more friendly to the illegal immigrants. But they imported them as quickly as possible future votes and jobs they provide to the millions of government workers that vote primarily Democrat. Sanctuary states make tons of money from various government aid per illegal alien. They need them.
